The Build & Electronics:
Unlike the overly finicky dual-circuit Jaguars of the past, Fender streamlined this model for modern reliability and maximum tone. It features two Michael Frank-designed V-Mod single-coil pickups that deliver that classic Jaguar chime and punch, but with a bit more output to cut through a modern mix.

The controls have been updated to a highly intuitive 4-way pickup selector blade (offering Bridge, Parallel, Neck, and Series configurations) alongside a top-horn 2-position slide switch that engages an out-of-phase circuit when both pickups are active. Combined with a factory treble-bleed circuit, your high frequencies stay perfectly clear even when you roll back the volume knob.
Playability & Hardware:
This model features the smooth-playing, striking Maple fretboard which perfectly complements the Sonic Gray finish. The neck features a modern, comfortable Deep "C" profile paired with 22 narrow-tall frets—ideal for effortless chord voicing and clean note-bending. Tuning and stability issues are a thing of the past thanks to the factory-installed brass Mustang-style barrel saddles, which lock the strings firmly into position under heavy play.
